We took the boys to the Ronald Regan Presidential Library, and of course the BIG hitter with them was the Air Force One Exhibit...boys will be boys they loved Air Force One, the Marine Presidential Helicopter, and the F-14 parked in the front yard.
They were loving it..of course I enjoyed it too...specially to see the incredible glass hanger they built to house Air Force One, and they mounted it up so high...and thanks to my hubby explaining they were able to do that because they removed the turbines from the plane, and actually have them displayed too.
Trivia: During President Regan's 8 Years as President he visited 26 countries and travelled gazillions of miles...and they actually have a piece of the Berlin Wall displayed too, with Regan's speech playing in the background "Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall." Just great to see a piece of history.
But enough about what I liked, as you can see the boys just loved the 'toys' and of course the monkey raved when we took the tour and saw the replica of the oval office, and heard the tour guide explain about the history of the resolute desks, and its twin being at the Queen's palace in England - he was so excited to inform us that...National Treasury was right in their treasure hunting they had explained the history of the desks...Aeeyyveyyy...history through Disney's eyes. All in all we had a great outing.

Great photos!
Would that be the desk made from a shipwreck? Or is that one in the Whitehouse?
Wowza, now THAT looks like fun - my son would have died and gone to heaven with all that coolness in that building! Neat shots!
If you ever make it to the west coast I bet they would love the Evergreen Aviation Museum. The original Spruce Goose is in there and it is amazing.
Great pictures of the exhibit. I did not know they even had one!

Wow- even my girls would be impressed with that!
Lots of toys for the boys. For the life of me I can't remember what they said on national treasure.
Thanks for validating National Treasure! I love those movies! Anyway, looks like it was a lot of fun. I love museums too.
