She was shopping for flowers. What made me feel like a kid again? Warm summer afternoon, swift smell of kettle corn popcorn...and just mom and I (now I know how my kids feel). Just a quick shot of some veggies and chilies that caught my eye...

I love the Farmer's Market. There's just something poetic and therapeutic about getting back to basics like that.

Chilis reminds me it's that time of year for chili down here too. A friend gave us some red chili salsa to scald your mouth. Needless to say my husband loves it and the rest of taste with moderation. ;)

Last time I went to one with my kids, they really enjoyed it. We spent a long time looking at the Meat stand, the Flowers stand and the Cheese stand. It's funny to explain to your children what are all you are seeing (and sometimes smelling !).
